2-28-08 Capt. Al Duncan and myself got on the boat at 4:20am this morning to catch bait and should have stayed in bed. We thought that the cold front along with the hard NW winds yesterday and last night would have pushed the big gizzard shad into the creek but we were wrong. Only caught 3 big gizzards this morning but there was tons of the small bait. I'll be back in the morning to try again. I guess this is why we put a 600gal. tank in the bait house! At least they are calling for beautifull weather Sat., I'm looking forward to that!
