2-23-08 Fished Al Simmons and family today with little luck. We were fogged in earlier with hardly any visibility at all! The fog burned off at about 10:00 and then the winds picked up and made things difficult. We headed West to try and avoid the rough water but all of the fish were caught East. Just a bad decision on my part I guess. The boys still managed to land 7 cats with the biggest being 16pounds. Hopefully next trip will bring better results.

2-20-08 Got up at 4:00 am to catch bait and it was a no go! I guess a combination of full moon and a fron coming through had the bait scattered. Only managed to catch 3 big gizzard shad and a striper over 30" in length. I only admired her for a moment before releasing her to fight again one day.>
